Co-working Office Space in Buffalo, MN Survey

I went from 15+ years of offices to working from home in 2015. While leaving my commute behind has been amazing, there are benefits to being in a collaborative and professional office environment that I miss. After working out of a couple co-working spaces in the Twin Cities like CoCo and The Commons (but having to drive to them), I thought, why not Buffalo?

I hope you’ll read up on what a co-working space is and take the survey below to help me gauge if this is an idea worth pursuing in Buffalo.  If you know someone that works from home, PLEASE pass them this link!

What Is A Co-Working Space?

Co-working is a style of work that involves a shared working environment, yet independent activity. Unlike the typical office environment, a co-working space is generally shared by individuals from different organizations and professions.  One shared space, built for individuals to work in and from.

Who Is Co-Working Great For?

This style of work is attractive to creative types, entrepreneurs, independent contractors, work-at-home professionals, and people who travel frequently and end up working in relative isolation. It provides independent workers a place to get work done, meet clients, use a conference room and professionally “show up,” both mentally and physically. Maybe you are just tired of your home office or hopping from one Caribou Coffee to another.

How Does It Work?

Typically co-working spaces are funded by “members”.  For a monthly fee, your membership grants you access to the office space to use a shared desk, work tables, various seating (couch, lounge chairs, high-top tables), a specific amount of conference room hours, quiet phone rooms, wi-fi, printer and various amenities. Come and go during normal business hours as you please.

Some spaces have a variety of membership types that restrict the number of days you can show-up or even a daily rate. (Membership rates range by location from $125/month to $300+ a month)
